The MetaRed TIC México Cybersecurity Working Group, through the ANUIES-TIC Information Security Group and in collaboration with TRUXGO, is organizing this CTF MetaRed México ANUIES-TIC 2026, with the following objectives:

To promote cybersecurity training and talent development at Ibero-American institutions of higher education: to provide participants with carefully designed exercises that present moderately difficult challenges, fostering an active and stimulating learning environment.

Cybersecurity training within MetaRed TIC: promote training among the university community at Ibero-American higher education institutions, including students, administrative staff, and support staff.
Prizes:
Participation is open to anyone. However, only participants affiliated with MetaRed TIC higher education institutions in Mexico are eligible to receive prizes.
- A prize of 500 U.S. dollars for the winning team.
- A prize of 250 U.S. dollars for the team that places second.
Prizes will be awarded in the form of gift cards for general online stores or those specializing in cybersecurity. The organization reserves the right to make any necessary adjustments to the method of awarding these prizes.
General rules:
- Teams will consist of a maximum of 5 people, one of whom will be the team leader.
- Participants must register on the platform.
- Registration will be available while the competition is open.
- Participants from MetaRed TIC member universities in Mexico must register using their institutional email address to be eligible for prizes. The email address must be verified by a representative of that university.
